Jay Z Reschedules Tidal-Only B-Sides Concert, Adds 2nd Show
Lucky Tidal subscribers will have to wait a few more days for Jay Z’s upcoming free B-Sides concert in New York – but they’ll also have double the chance of getting in. Tidal CEO Andy Chen Departs Company Amid Layoffs Hova pushed back the date of his B-Sides show — which will spotlight tracks he rarely plays live — from May 13 to May 16. Additionally, he’s added a second B-Sides date on May 17, so New Yorker Tidal fans have an even better chance of checking him perform his more obscure tracks. You can sign up for the chance to see Jay on Tidal.com. Jodeci Tops Adult R&B Songs for First Time in 22 Years

R&B group Jodeci earns its first Adult R&B Songs chart-topper as “Every Moment” steps 2-1 to crown the list dated May 16 (down two percent in plays for the week ending May 3, according to Nielsen Music, but it still is awarded a bullet in its first week at No. 1). The foursome appeared on the very first Adult R&B Songs chart (dated Sept. 18, 1993) with “Lately” and have charted a total of eight entries. With the ascent of “Every Moment,” it marks the longest wait (nearly 22 years) for any act to reach No. 1 on the list (dating to their first chart appearance). The new single is off of Jodeci’s first album in 20 years, The Past, The Present, The Future, which entered Top R&B Albums at No. 2 on the chart dated April 18. The rapper is a five-time BBMAs winner and he’s landed six albums at the summit of the Billboard 200.
